Camps

Our summer camp programs provide students with a basic knowledge of horses to help keep them safe on the ground or in the saddle. From riding to bathing horses, each day will offer new and exciting experiences. On the last day of camp, we ask family members to come one hour early for our camp show, where students show off their new skills and win awards!

Days will be loaded with knowledgeable fun revolving around horses and geared to the novice level. The week will be filled with instruction on good horsemanship, grooming and stable duties, care and maintenance of equipment, learning conformation and parts of the horse, different horse breeds and colours, as well as an introduction to feeding and care. Two fun and informative lessons per day are also included.

It is our goal to teach novice riders and handlers the basics of horsemanship while putting the emphasis on fun, creativity and learning, all while keeping safety in mind. There is a CPR card holder on premises at all times, as well as a fully stocked first aid kit in the barn. Camp sessions are kept in small groups for a better overall experience. Camps run rain or shine. We also have a swimming pool and trampoline for campers to enjoy!

We offer kids day camps (from 6-12 years of age) as well as adult camps. Camps run Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:00pm. Arrangements can be made for earlier drop-offs and later pick-ups if needed.
